And that's when the magic spell sends out a wave of energy. Clashing into everyone's souls before exploding outword, dealing an incredible amount of damage in such a short moment. Their attacks did connect though, as he has a gash in his stomach and the poison from the other attack starts to kick in.


Kite is knocked unconscious.

Cia falls down, her soul necklace nearly breaking from the attack.

Cas grunts, trying to find a way to dodge, but too late. She gets flung into the nearest wall, where she then slumps over - unconscious.

For those who are still up, though... a dark presence can be felt creeping into the room. One that's coming from outside...

The bird snaps and casts a non-elemental spell onto the group. Kicking them when they are down.

Serena who stayed under cover seeing Kite hurt goes over to try to help him. While she had been hit by some of the attack she thankfully avoided most of it. "This is why you don't go to strange places." She mutters noticing that others are also hurt.

Barely concious for it, Maka cries out weakily, holding on with his flimsy, few points of fatigue.
"Why..." He calls.

Cia grunts in pain, though she inspects her necklace. "...Guys, this isn't good..."

He snaps again, casting another NME spell onto them, hitting Serena this time around. He then begins charging another, more deadly spell."Because your in the way. I have a new project now."

"Project? What project?" Cia asks, holding her dagger at the ready. She looks quite wary, though, since her necklace is damaged. If it broke, well, that wouldn't be good.

The first non-elemental spell from the Pidgeot seemingly did a number on the already-unconscious Cas, and while she was down but still breathing normally - she's not really moving that much anymore...

As the Pidgeot charges his latest spell, the presence takes form - his shadow stretches and grows to cover most of the wall behind him - before said shadow appears to become solid. A pair of golden eyes with red irises snaps open...
"I'm getting very tired of you." a gentle voice speaks.
The shadow raises both arms all of a sudden.

The pidgeot struggles for a moment before glaring up."You. You and that fox bitch keep interfering with my plans like these cheese pie kids!" He struggles as he's being held up.


The crystals on the bracelets Serena and Cia's father gave them break, healing their wounds and re-energizing the two of them.

Cia can feel the rush of energy. "...Ah...thank you daddy..." She says softly to herself.

Maka is clambering to rise on a knee, using his sword to try and stand so he can take the handle out to attempt to heal...But every time he tries to stand, he slides back down, seriously hurt.

Oh, and as for Abella, I didn't forget about her, she's just been in the toy chest nearby, waiting...

Serena gets to her feet tossing some healing items onto Kite before drawing her bow to face the threat. "What's going on...?"

A soft chuckle echoes from the shadowy figure, which continues to slowly take form. It's not long before the presence reveals itself to be a Misdreavus, dressed in many dark cloaks.
"Ah yes, your 'plans'. Do you think you are above consequences?"
The Misdreavus casually glances towards the wall. Some of the structure starts to give way, revealing a swirling vortex... it's clearly some sort of portal. As to where it leads?
Probably nowhere good.
The Misdreavus raises its arms again.
"You will continue to deny us, but this is for your own good. Please don't come back this time."

He struggles before attempting to free himself once more. "You son of a bitch! Let me go or I'll kill you along with them!"


Kite pulls himself up and staggers, being incredibly weak to magic."The hell..."

Cia goes over to tend to Maka, looking over. "...I don't understand...do you know anything about this Maka?"

Of course Serena backs up away from the vortex scared. The little girl's eyes widen as she crys out daddy. He being the only person she ever really knew despite his treatment of her.

Abella's Moogle soon emerges from the chest, casting a room wide Cure spell on the party.

The spell helps Maka stand, and he shakes his head.
"I don't know what the hell to believe or know anymore...Why there's a girl here...Why you and I were called here..."

"My soul was drawn here...it was such a strong feeling..." She says, holding the damaged necklace.

Another laugh from the Misdreavus. Not a malicious one, not a forced one - it has a dissonant serenity to it, if anything.
"Oh, come now. We both know that's not true. Now, don't be so fussy. And... as for you..."
The figure glances towards the young Starly, and sighs softly.
"... I suppose you're too young to understand, but you'll thank me too."
With a quick gesture of the ghost's arms, the Pidgeot is dragged through the portal.

With an angered scream, the bird vanishes through the portal.

Serena watches a bit shaken up as she goes over to calm the little girl some noticing her distress.

The portal closes in an instant, though the Misdreavus stays there. He's staring at Cia...

Cia looks back. "...What?"

Maka moves over to the girl protectively, keeping his eyes on the ghost.
"....Yyyyyyesss...?"
