Maka moves over to the girl protectively, keeping his eyes on the ghost.
"....Yyyyyyesss...?"

"Interesting."
The shadowy Misdreavus, still looming over everyone at this point, slowly shrinks down to the size of an average person. He remains hovering in place.
"You're one of the dark souls that the child has been trying to draw here, right? And... you..."
He suddenly focuses his gaze on Maka, then glances at the young Starly - before looking at Maka again and chuckling faintly.
"Ah ha, I see the resemblance now. Although the circumstances are quite a shame."

Maka growls a little.
"If you've nothing useful to say, then please, let us move on...We need to take this girl to the Guild, and then get to our job..."

Cia frowns. "I still need to know why I was drawn here."

This gets another laugh out of the Misdreavus.
"Of course, perhaps I can be a bit more clear." he replies, clasping his hands together.
"This girl's soul has a strange property. It tugs on any dark soul in the area. It draws them to her, and attempts to place them under her command." the ghost explains, gesturing towards the Starly.
"She's probably not doing it on purpose, but I'm sure you've felt its effect, miss Cia. That's why you are here."
He pauses, taking a few steps to pace around in midair.
"As for a less cryptic statement to you, young Maka, that child is your half-sister. It's not a pleasant story, so I won't go into detail."

Cia frowns. "I'm not going to be under anyone's command...All I want is my soul back in my body...but that's still a ways away."

Kite walks over to Cas and pours one of the potions he had down her throat in attempt to wake her up."who are you Miss?" The paint dog asks, looking over at Desta.

Cas remains still and silent... but soon the effects of the potion kick in, and she starts coughing and carefully sits up.
"I hate not being able to dodge... I think I'm done with being awake for the day..." the Absol mutters, clutching her torso.


The Misdreavus glances towards Kite for a moment, blinking in confusion - before realization hits, and he chuckles again.
"Oh, wow, I didn't even introduce myself, did I...? That's rather awkward. I'm an associate of your Guildmaster, my name is Desta. Greetings," the ghost replies.

"What you aren't some freaky being from the underworld?" Serena asks having gotten that kind of vibe.

Desta can't help but snicker in response.
"What, because I'm a ghost? Of course not." he assures her, shaking his head, before glancing around.
"But, ah... Now that I've done what I came here for, I need to get going. Maybe we'll meet again."

The Misdreavus is gone in an instant, melting back into the shadows.

This leaves Maka standing there, lost in his own thoughts, eyes locked on the girl. Also, Abella finally comes out of the box, promptly kicking Kite in the back of the knees.
"The hell guys? I thought we were gonna hide! See, this is why I didn't get hurt, because I was smarter than you!" >_<

"Thanks..." Kite grumbles loudly, dropping to his knees."but...your right...you didn't get hurt..."

"What? Are you...pleased about that?" Abella asks, dropping her guard momentarily. o_O

Cia pants a little, looking at Desta. "...My necklace is shattered...if it falls apart, my soul may be lost...is there any way to restore my soul to my body?"

The little girl noticing her necklace looks over reaching out for it.

Cia slowly steps over to her, watching her cautiously.

She reaches out touching the necklace. The soul inside slowly getting purified.

"Whoa, how are you doing that? Who ARE you?" Maka asks quickly as he steps over as well.

She blinks and lets go quickly backing up from him startled.

"Y-yes, do it as much as you want..." Kite grumbles watching CIA's soul return to its original state.

Maka slowly puts away his weapon, and then bows his head.
"I'm...sorry. What is your name?" he asks in a more gentle manner.

Desta is long gone, but from the looks of it, Cia got the help she was after.

Cas, meanwhile, is leaning against the wall and listening to everyone else from afar. Despite being fully healed, she's still dazed.

The little girl is sadly already spooked hiding behind Serena and peeking out at him.

Kite kneels down and holds out a lollipop."There there. We ain't gunna hurt ya...so Maka, the weird lady said this was your sister...?"


Dez is on the far off roof sitting on a chimney. She has one leg over the other, Eating a lollipop."So Desta, what brought you here?" Speaking to nothing In particular.

Maka slowly nods, still haven't let the shock of it hit just yet.
"....I still have part of a family." he says after a fairly long silence. Meanwhile, Cia is checking the soul out, in disbelief.
"Am I...safe...? She completely healed me?"

The little girl slowly comes out taking the candy from Kite before hugging onto him scared
