Cia climbs on behind Maka, holding onto him. "Yea, let's save Kite."

Lugia lands on a platform far below the one they were are. A pathway leading off this one, leading somewhere into the darkness. "This is as far as I can take you...please, do not stay here for long. The void will cause insanity in the living if you dwell here for too long." She says nervously before letting them off and flying away.

"Thank you!" Serena calls up to her before looking down at the pathway. "Here is hoping we can find Kite before we go insane then huh?"

"It's worth a shot. Going mad here would be just as bad as the guilt of leaving him behind!" Maka calls as he hops off Lugia, darting ahead. Abella sticks behind the group, clutching her summoner bell.

This part of the void feels much different...deeper...souls are raining down from above slowly...

As Maka rushed forth he steps into the sands of his home village once again.

Serena looks around and up at the souls, feeling un-easy knowing once that could have been her, could have been any of them.

Maka ignores this bit, and hurries forward.
"Kiiiiite!" he calls aloud, hoping to hear something back.

There's little to no response.


Serena bumps into a man as she follows after, a familiar looking pidgeot looks down at her before blinking."Oh excuse me." He says giving a smile before walking towards a market.

Maka watches this, and blinks a few times, before slowly following him.
"Hey-hey-hey! Don't follow him!" Abella hisses.

Serena freezes and looks back at him then at Maka. "Hey stop Maka." She says as soon as she realizes he's gonna follow

Maka ignores them both, following behind the Pidgeot. He's quiet, mostly curious as to what he's doing.

Cia sticks to Maka. "...Why are you following him?" She asks him softly.

The pidgeot stops and pretty much acts normal in the market. Shadow images of the former market people linger and flicker, but the pidgeot looks solid.

Maka stops behind him, keeping his eye on him. He was so curious as to why he was here...

"Maka? Talk to me..." Cia says, looking concerned.

And as if the void is trying to distract him, a pathway opens up. The smeargle's paw prints leading down it. The pidgeot seems to be talking and laughing with the non-existant shop owners."yes, I'm excited. I'm going to be a father soon."

"Oh..." Maka says aloud, realizing what's going on. "It's just a projection." he says, sounding almost disappointed.
