"That'll be hard...any particular elemental weakness? Abilities we should know of?"

And of course while they're busy talking about the monster, Aira is riding around in circles giggling happily.

Maka takes a seat, smiling as he watches the white chocobo running in circles, warking loudly.
"Fire is their biggest weakness." Abella points out. "They absolutely hate fire."

Cia keeps an eye on Aira as she listens to the conversation. "Well, atleast we know it's weakness.'

"Fire...and good thing. We have a Mage and a fire type with us. You have any fire beasts Abby?"

"My pup can breath fire." she says, nodding.

Cia nods. "That's good. I can always distract it too for you guys."

"Sounds like we have some start of a plan then."

"When does the Eater typically strike?" Abella further inquries.

Dez Jr dragged herself back to the farmhouse.


"Said typically when it's hungry. If it just attacked, then we have some time to prepare."

"Well then I guess we should set a trap for it then."

"That's a good idea. I'm proficient at traps." Cia mentions. "As an assassin, sometimes traps can be invaluable...tripwires are amazing."

"Go for it." Kyte says falling back into the grass and yawning."I'm going to nap. It's a nice cool day, I'm not going to waste it."

"Alright, ell enjoy your nap Kyte." Cia says before digging through her bag for trap materials.

"If it just attacked....I'll give it about five hours or so." Abella says, reading through her personal catalog of notes on monsters. "High to Very High metabolism, I've got it written it here."

"That's five hours to rest...should get your sister inside after she's had her fun."

Cia nods towards Kyte. "right. We should do that soon Maka. I won't leave until she's safe."

"You sure you should be napping outside Kyte with some kind of monster in the area?" Serena asks as Aira and the chocobo leap over Kyte.

"It's called a chocobo eater. Not a smeargle eater."

"Doesn't mean it won't try new things."

Maka laughs a little at the stunt, sitting down in the grass.
"We can let her ride until she's tired."

Cia nods. "Alright. Once everyone's safe Ill set up traps."

"Sounds like a plan to me."

Abella decides she'd rather go investigate the barn further, getting a good look around. Oh, and she's called her behemoth pup too. Just in case.

Inside the barn in stalls are other Pokemon. Her nemisises is resting in some hay, bandaged up.

Said bandages have a slightly reddish tint to them.
