"Do what you guys need too...why not say hi to your chicks? I'm sure they miss you.@

"Well of course. That's where I was going." Maka chirps.

"Yup. I was going with him." Cia adds.

"That's why we're here. Have they grown a lot?"

Dez Jr waves as she heads for the house to go sleep.


The chicks, of all colors, come marching out of the barn as if following each other. They are indeed bigger and rideable...to an extent.

"Wow, they've gotten so big!" Cia mentions.

Maka runs over to get a good look at them, agreeing with Cia.
"Yea, they're not quite fully grown I think, but they are a lot bigger."

She steps over as well, rubbing one on the head. "Soon they'll be rideable."

And of course Maka's sister rushes forward to the birds, going to one of the first one she sees jumping up and down happily.

Serena chuckles seeing this. "Well that's adorable."

Cia giggles a bit. "Well, it is exciting, I know." She mentiones.

Maka follows after her, smiling.
"Cia and I were caring for a white chocobo...let's see about finding one you can ride."

"Oh, that's a good idea. A smaller one would work."

She looks up at her big brother. "Yay!" She jumps up and down wanting one of her own.

Maka guides her over to his and Cia's white Chocobo, smiling.
"This one is ours, Aira."
He's ever so gentle as he brushes down the bird's feathers, making sure his own don't get shedded off

Cia brushes it off a bit as well. "Yes, wanna ride?"

Aira nods. "Yes! Yes Please!" She says cutely as she reaches up wanting to be lifted onto the bird.

Cia motions for Maka to lift her (since she didn't want to push her luck yet with his sister not trusting Cia yet.)

Maka helps lift her on, setting the lightweight Starly on its backside.

"A bird on a bird..."Kyte mentions thinking about the situation."Morbid no?"

"Well, I was a dragon on a dragon earlier." She points out, shrugging."

Aira just giggles and trys to go the other bird to move forward

"Touché." He...she...? It....? Says picking up his own chocobo. "So what's a chocobo eater look like?" He asks Abella.

The white chocobo seems to grunt a little, but slowly steps forward with Aira's command.
"Well, you see Kyte, they have these really long arms and massive mouths. Not a pretty sight." she explains, as she retrieves a notebook from...somewhere, and opening it up, to reveal sketches of monsters she's drawn herself. She flips to a image for Kyte...:

"Can it be killed? That's my only other question? Also...is it like a dodongo?"

"Kind of yes, kind of no. They're extremely durable, so the best way to deal with them is simply drive them off....Well, unless a group is so absurdly powerful they can kill it...But there's no need for that."
