Cecil cooks it medium well, and takes the plate to Rylie, kneeling before her while offering the food. "Your food, miss Rylie."

she doesn't answer. seems she is now lost in thought

The Flygon tilts his head. "...Rylie? What's the matter?"

She snaps out of it
"Hmm...? Oh... It's nothing..."

"Here, you should eat up Rylie.." he says handing her the plate.

Meanwhile, Lucure has taken some ingredients, and has stated to make a simple, toasted bread with the oven. It's coated with a little bit of butter, a tad bit of garlic, and some cheese. Mmm....Cheese bread...

Cecil's nose twitches. "...Cheese bread?" *_*

Rylie's nose twitches as well
"Cheese... Bread...?"
She has no idea what it is

"You must try, miss Rylie...but steak first." He says.

After making the finishing touches, Lucure walks upstairs with her creation, and announces, "I'm not the most skilled cook, but maybe this will make a good side dish with your meal, Rylie..."
After that, she keeps her trap shut. She had a right mind to snap at Caliber some more (who simply remains in his sheathe on Lux's side.)

"I agree with Cecil, it is quite good." Lux pipes up, with a slight nod.
'... My question, miss Rylie?' the Kirlia adds, telepathically.

Cain returns several minutes later.
"So...yeah that was good stuff."
Despite eating more than enough for probably 20 people in the past day, he was somehow able to down everything, not even packing on a considerable amount of weight.
"Alright, what's going on now?"

She looks at both Lucure and Cecil
"...OK... I'll eat..."
She really wasn't planning on eating. Seems that cheese bread changed her mind. She starts eating.
She replys to Lux telepathically. Through the link a storm of emotions rage behind a relatively calm exterior
'It's nothing...'

Cecil smiles as Rylie eats. "Don't forget the steak." ^_^

she is already eating the steak

"So...The bread?" Lucure asks. "Is it to your liking?"

The bread has been devoured after the first bite
"....more?"
Seems her appetite has returned

He winks to Lucure. "Seems you won her over with the bread. Better get to it." He says.

The Smeargle walks out with a confident smirk. How did she know...

Cecil chuckles before sitting down nearby.

Given a little bit of time, the young lady returns with more cheese bread.
"Here you go. And some for you Cecil...And you too, Lux. Eat something, dammit."

And she quickly eats her share

Cecil takes it and eats at it vigorously. "Thank you..."

Crossing her arms, she gives them a nod.
"Yup. Glad you liked it."

"So...now that we've eaten, Rylie, would you be ready to travel with us? We should resume our adventure."

"I need to pack some things..."
