"Some kind of...southern meal the cook picked up on our travels. I think he called it...Tortilla soup?"

"Ah, interesting. I'm willing to try it."

"Yeah. I'm sure it'll be good enough."

"Supposed to have some meats and a lotta, uh, beans I think he said." she says, scratching her head. "Although he's been raving about it for months."

"Ah, well I cant wait to try it then." The prince says.

"Yup. I think I'll like it...then again I'm not really picky."

Lucure giggles at Cain's comment.
"I imagine not..."

"No point. Eat what you get because tomorrow you might not get any."

"Well Im ready to eat either way."

"Should be ready soon. That's the nice thing about stopping at the fortress, you see. We can grab decent supplies and make better meals for a few days."

"Indeed. I'm glad we did. But I'm more anxious to see the next kingdom."

"Eh...."
Lucure looks away.
"I don't much care for the Tinkers. I grew up there, after all."

"Oh really now?"

"That's where my old orphanage was at." She explains, nodding a little. "Where I met Patches, grew up on the streets, learned about gunpowder and the likes..."

"Oh wow...I see." he says, looking down.

"Would you say what you learned there got you where you are now?"

"Of course it did. Not bringing that sad old sob story up, but I did learn a lot then."

"Well, that's still interesting. You'll know the area, so it'll be easier and safer to get around."

"Yup. Won't have to go around exploring."

"That's fair enough."
"But we'll still look around, right Brother?" Gene asks, speaking up again.

"Of course we will. I'm interested in seeing their technology."

"If only they were willing to spread it out to all of the nations and factions..."

"They probably want to keep some kind of advantage."

"Possibly...but Im here to try and change that."

"Hopefully it all works out then."
