"I know I will have to be able to take hits...I usually was so efficient an assassin I was hardly taking blows..." Cia mentions, and looks to Maka. "We can do this...watching eachothers backs, we'll have an advantage."

The Archeops glances back at the goblins, and begins the fight by hurling a basic fire spell into the middle of them, striking at least two of them.

Pulling out her dagger again she jumps forward slashing at the nearest injured Goblin.

Cia follows suit to Maka's attack, leaping at one of the other injured goblins and stabbing it.

Pyra-"the map says the goblins aren't any of the targets...THERE, ITS THE HOBGOBLIN!"

"Oh great, tell us after the fact." Cia mutters, frowning as she turns to the hobgoblin."

She frowns and backs up turning towards the larger creature and rushes forward to attack it. "This is going to be so much harder I know it."

Jyrus reaches it first to try to get it to attack him. His body gets surrounded by an aura of plasma to boost his defense.

I GOT IT!

The Hobgoblin (I'll name him Pete since he's myne) kicks Serena with a single grunt, wielding its club threateningly.
"Serena!" Maka yells, running over to help her up, but not before casting a fire enchantment on their weapons.

Jyrus looks back at their injured teammate for a moment before refocusing on the enemy. Part of the plasma forms into what appears to be two large clawed arms on around his. He approaches with one arm in front of him to guard him and looks strike a blow on the foes chest.

Dez-"Hold up! I don't think this is a fair fight. It's just a single lonely Hobby by himself!"
She rushes over behind the goblin, removing her staff from her back and swinging her arms, casting several buffs onto it." Right, now that's a fair fight!"

"Did you seriously just HELP it?!" Serena yells recovering from the blow. "Are you even on our side?!" She says before slashing at the monster

Dez-"Of course I am! But I just like a fair fight is all."She says holding her staff and swinging her hips from side to side. Think Vanille from FF13. I mean, if she's on it's side. Maybe they should attack her too. : D

She growls and sends a small wind spell at Dez to knock the staff out of her hands. She figures Dez would be useless magic wise without her staff if she relied on it.

I can already kind of see where this is going...

Dez-" D< Attack the goblin! Not me you brat!" She says rushing over to find her magic stick

The monster gives a roar of thanks to the lady, and then rushes down Jyrus, tackling him with mighty force.

"The last thing we need is someone screwing us over."
The beast does indeed tackle him to the ground and Jyrus tries to fight it off, his plasma armor does help him out a bit as it still harms the creature.

"Yeah no. Guys take care of the monster I'll take care of the fox!" She says rushing forward leaping and tackling Dez in the back with a snarl

Dez-"Hey get off of me! I'm only helping you guys!" D<

Cia facepalms, then jumps in and slashes at the hobgoblin with her dagger.

As Cia's dagger sinks into his hardened skin, thanks to the crazy fox mage, it roars, letting go of Jyrus, and turning around, swinging its arm wildly at the Noivern. Maka makes himself useful, by hurling another fireball through the air, striking its shoulder.

"Buffing the monster is not helping us this is like practice you don't make this any harder!" She says hitting her head.

Cia nimbly dodges the swings towards her, and stabs at it again.

This time, the creature grabs the Noivern by the leg, and lifts her up to slam her against the ground. Moving around it, Maka does the only thing he can think of, casting a Slow spell on the creature. As time slows around it, it indeed begins to move in an almost comical slow-motion, holding the Noivern upside-down, mid-swing.
