As they talk, a shimmering flash of light brings forth a....?

-> Door, Mirror, stairwell going up

"....Oh my...a mirror? Huh..."

Cia walks over to it and looks at her reflection.

Abella and Maka both follow her over, curious about the appearance of this mirror.

Cia being first, the mirror begins to reflect her past. And not just her current life's past. The mirror shimmers before flickering as if now made of water....nothing is happening. It's a portal into the past.

Cas tilts her head.
"It turned into a portal...? If you guys wanna go through, I won't stop you, but I'm not sure we'll find Kite in there," the Absol speaks up.

Once the others pass through the portal, they'd arrive in a grassy field overlooking a medieval looking city, with a large castle looming in the distance. It was dark, and pretty cold out. Around the group lay dead bodies. Most likely the aftermath of a skirmish

"Okay...this is better." Abella admits, as the cool wind hits her. She was calming down.

Still...it's a new place and area but they can still feel the void...

"Guys just where are we? I can still sense the void here..." Serena asks coming over

Cia nods, looking around. "...This is....familiar."

As Maka steps forward, he asks in a sudden moment of clarity, still oddly calm about all this, "Because this is a reflection of your past, is it not, Miss Cia?"

"It is...it definately is..."

She kneels down next to one of the dead bodies. "...I killed all these people..."

"What did they do?" Abella asks curiously, taking into mind of her personal creed.

""You've killed people in both lives?"

"Yes, bit these were innocents...I helped eradicate this village for my kingdom..." Cia mutters. As they stand there, the sound of knights marching into the village can be heard.

"Wow how'd you get reborn?" Serena says shocked at this.

"What does that mean?" Maka asks Serena. "I'm pretty positive that being reborn has nothing to do with karma or anything."

"He's right you know." Comes Dez's voice as she comes out from behind a tree.

Abella tilts her head at this.
"Guildmistress? You got sucked in too?"

She shakes her head."I am a manifestation of the void itself. Those among the living do not belong here. But...none enter this realm for no reason...I have merely taken a form that comforts you."

"I died....because I was betrayed....my king used this incident to pin a large bounty on my head from the neighboring kingdom...and had me killed so he could take the money for himself...I remember it...like it just happened."

Serena frowns clearly confused by this while looking at the copy of Dez. "Can you save Kite?"

"And then you were reborn." Maka concludes for Cia, looking up at the Noivern.

"Yes...But I vowed to never kill an innocent again." She says, kneeling down. "...Why...why are we here?"
