"Good. And perhaps we can feast tonight." Cecil adds.

"Ooh, as long as there is no fish, I'm fine with it." Lucure mentions. "Too much fish....."

"Nah, fish isn't really our style." Gene promises, shaking her head. Lux just chuckles, and then glances towards Caliber, taking note that he's begun moving of his own accord again (since I forgot to respond to that last time x_x).

"Yes. I'm thinking steaks and berries."

'Well, in any case, lets hurry on to the palace. I believe I'll take a nice little trip back to my old resting place, while you all feast.' Caliber mentions aloud.

"Sounds good to me," Lux responds to Caliber, with a slight bow of his head. Gene, in the meantime, nods in response to her brother.
"Steak and berries, huh? I'm cool with that. Trust me, it's a LOT fancier than it sounds," she mentions to Lucure.

"Yea, it sure is. The finest and rarest of berries."

"Yeah! All the sweetest Haban berries. Only the richest and spiciest Razz garnish!" Gene brags, starting to buzz her wings excitedly as she rattles off a list of assorted berry dishes.

"I prefer a simple Oran pie." Lucure also speaks up, sounding a little excited herself. After all, she hadn't been to the castle since they all first met.

"I think you'll like the castle, Lucure."

"Oh. Oran pie, is that all? Booooring, but totally doable." Gene promises, offering the best thumbs-up her little twig limbs can manage.
"And yeah, the castle is the best. You'll have fun," she adds.

Before long, as they've walked through the short little across that is Mauville, they're shortly on their way towards the Desert.

"Ooh, we're very close now."

"Incredibly close." Lucure says. "I think I'll hold one of your bathrooms hostage...Take a nice bath. That kind of thing." she remarks. "Actually, I think we all need one. We were on the ocean for well over a week."

All Cain can think about is the food.

"Go for it," Gene says to Lucure, with a bit of a laugh.
"Now, c'mon guys. Let's pick up the pace, we're nearly there...!"

"Well, looks like a race now." Lucure calls, before breaking into a full out sprint.

"Wait, what? No! Wait up!"
Gene buzzes her wings and takes off after the Smeargle. D:

"Yes, all good ideas..." Cecil says, picking up the pace as well.

Even Caliber seems to laugh softly.
'Hahaha...Young spirits. I, the loyal guardian of the crown prince, shall absolutely destroy you in this race.'
Then, he jets off ahead of them all...

Lux stops in his tracks, a bit stunned that even Caliber has joined in...
...And then sends a moving Substitute running after them, as he teleports himself farther ahead.

Cecil pants. "Hey! No fair!"

"My apologies, lord Cecil, but if I don't do this I won't be able to keep up!" the Kirlia admits. >_<

Lucure looks ahead, panting as she struggles to keep up with the other two guards.
"Bah!" DX<

Cecil pants a little and slows down.

Before long, Lucure stumbles across the 'finish' line, panting loudly.
"Phew...I didn't know....running that far...in all this armor...would be so hard..."
