Cia does the same, stumbling onto her butt.

When the light fades, a vulpine armored knight sits upon a steed in front of them."You're weak...the darkness will just consume you!" She cries out, holding a naginata in one hand."I'll cut you down before that happens!"

"Not if we can help it!" Cia yells, growling.

"You're an idiot if you think that way. That whole light vs darnkess stuff is just fairy tale crap. The truth is both sides need each other. If you're going to fight for something like this then you need to be put down."
He stands in between her and Maka, ready to defend him.

"Whoa hey Violet give him a chance to control it! What is wrong with you where did this even come from?!"

"It seems like a manifestation of darkness...Either way, Jyrus is right. There is a balance to be had with light and dark...I've never heard of a being that could be pure light or darkness."

"That may be true...But look at the shape of that creature...8 legged horse...a deadly spear, armored knight...We're dealing with something worse than a Tonberry." Maka observes, stepping forward.

"Much worse, but we can take it together, can't we?"

Odin raises her spear and casts doom on Maka. : D

10 <- Raise increases it by 2, Renew by 3, and a revive item by 1.

"Oh dear...this can't be good." Cia remarks, readying her dagger.

As the guidelines flash into his head, Maka tries to explain as best as he can to the group, "Sometimes in the presence of a summoner, reborns can be forced into being a host for local, legendary spirits that would challenge the summoner for various reasons. They go by many names...Espers, Eidolons...and of course the most common, summons. This must be Odin, judging by the horse and weapon, who has given me a guideline to follow, to earn its trust or be slaughtered. And from what I know of the curse he just placed on me, we only have a few minutes." ._.

Odin rushes forward, swiping his spear at the group, turning 180 degrees before the horse kicks Cia.

"Well then let's take care of this thing and quickly!" Serena says running forward to slashes at the horse's legs trying to cripple it.

Jyrus jumps up an tries to force Odin of his mount.

Their efforts don't pay off, the moment they get near Odin casts a Thundaga, electricity G the two of them as they get close.

"Ugh well that was shocking." Serena says as she skids back her fur sticking up due to the electricity.

Serena's fur poofs out in one big puff


And the ribbon that was cut off? Yeah it turns to ash and falls off

Nah Odin cannot use lightning in Norse Mythology. Bad final fantasy.

Jyrus lands back on the ground next to her.
"It's fine. We'll just have to try something else."

Serena lets out a wail and rushes at the monster doing several quick slashes. Her eyes filled with tears from rage and pain.

Physical pain or embarrassment pain? ._.


Either way the Eidolin staggers back from this... Serena learned Berserk! ^_^

Either way, Jyrus can use this to his advantage now.

Jyrus gives his first attack another shot, seeing that Odin is off balance.

Cia quickly jump kicks Odin as well, trying to assist Jyrus with knocking the foe off balance.

Physical pain again flesh ribbon. ._. Serena keeps up her attack for a couple moments longer and jump back snarling raising her dagger up before rushing forward hitting it again for a crit. =p

Maka finally finishes charging a mass cura, lowering the power in exchange for healing the entire group at once.

Cia feels quite refreshed,though she hasn't taken much abuse.

As all of these attacks connect with the armored spirit, the creature brings in its arms close to its body, and looses a gigantic blast of Thundaga, forcing everybody off of it. It turns its bladed weapon towards Serena, the one that drew aggro (c'mon Serena lrn 2 ctrl ur dps), and attempts to run her through the chest.
