Maka tilts his head a little at this.
"Don't worry too much about that, Miss Cia...There's no reason to fret too much about your old lifestyle anymore. But, that does make me think...Just who did you work for? How did you get your jobs? Or whom gave them to you?"

"You wouldn't and I'm glad but I am sad to part with mine already." Serena says quietly closing her book and nods to the one laying next to her.

Her chocochick is being a fat lazy pudger

She chuckles and picks it up. "Come on lets put you with your friends."

"I took jobs myself from a bounty board, mostly in bars or in the center of some of the major cities."

It tried to flutter away and fly to its friends, only to fall and bounce on the floor

"Oh." Maka replies, looking off towards the white chocobo chick that Cia and he were taking care of. "I guess I never thought of people just putting up public announcements that, 'hey, we want this person dead'..."

She picks it up. "Maybe I shouldn't of given you a snack.." She says carrying it over to it's friends.

"It can happen. But again, I never took contracts that involved killing innocents..."

"Mm...I believe you, Miss Cia." he chirps. "Now...Let's get some breakfast. We have a boat ride to catch."

"Alright!" She replies, happier now thanks to Maka.

The Archeops hurries off to get some food, before the table is infamously wiped out.

"Maka!" Cia growls. "You took all the food."

"Wha-? No, I didn't." he says, looking up at her and wilting a little before the bat-dragon's presence.

Wiped out by Dez, that is.

Cia crosses her arms. "Then who's the culprit?"

(I think there's a communication failure here. I meant before it gets cleared out by Dez and them. ^^; )

Maka sputters a bit, then suddenly puts a biscuit into her mouth.
"Bis-quik!"
Then he dives under the table.

Cia dives for him. "No! I want biscuit!"

He pushes her away with a foot as she barely misses him, scuttling away to the other side of the table and taking off into the building.

"Stop playing with your food and eat!" D<

"Maka ate it all Serena! Help me get biscuit!!" Cia yells as she Chases the bird.

Maka runs down the hallways, looking to escape in whatever fashion he can, taking plenty of turns in an effort to confuse her.

Too bad Cias a trained tracker, being an assassin and all. She has no problems catching up to Maka.

As he takes one more turn, he comes to an abrupt halt, and sticks a leg out in a sly manner, so that she'd trip coming around.

And as she does, she falls for it, falling to the ground and getting a faceful of carpet
