"It'll be fine, I assure you, Dogbreath." She says as she looks over the edge of the road and at a lower laying walkway that continues into a older mineshaft.

"Looks to be an abandoned mine...sure this way will lead through?" He asks.

"And if he twists his foot more...?"

"We'll make sure he doesn't. You start feeling like your foot is gonna fall apart, you can ride the Cain train again."

"I can carry him." Lucure says, looking between the two of them. "Besides...I don't know if I should let Cain carry him now...I doubt he wants to ride your 'train', sir." .-.
The Smeargle looks down the ledge again, and hops down, looking back up.
"Alright Cecil, just take a seat there and slide down. I'll make sure you don't fall."

He nods, trusting her as he sits down, slowly sliding his rear along until he slides down the ledge and plops on his rear.

She grabs him by the arm, and easily pulls him back to his feet.
"There we go." She says, patting his backside.

"Ah, thanks Lucure." He says.

With a gentle pat, she motions towards the open mineshaft.
"Alright, in we go."

Cecil nods, limping along into the dark mineshaft.

The mineshaft, in fact, is rather dark inside, but they also do have lanterns lighting the way, fixated to the support beams that provide the miners safety. As they begin to enter, they get a brief face-full of salt as it drifts past them, unsettled and sent flying by the miner's work below. At least Cecil has those awesome face goggles, so it just simply brushes away from his eyes, and Lucure uses a paw to wipe her face free of what salt sticks to her fur.
"Bleufh!" she complains as she steps onward, spitting a little bit to the side. Seems she got some in her mouth.

Rylie just keeps walking with her eyes closed and the cloth over her nose and mouth

for the frst time in a while Sybel speaks up
"it seems Rylie had the right idea"

Cecil coughs a bit. "Hopefully this wont last too long."

Cain keeps his head down as whenever he coughs he lets out flames.
"Eh...could be worse."

"It's not too bad..." Lucure mutters, pushing onward. The shaft twists and turns, with bend-offs everywhere...It'd be easy to get lost in here.

"Hm, lots of alternate paths. I take it you've been down here before?"

"Of course." she replies, looking up at the Flygon.
"I own these mines."

"Whatever... Just don't get us lost, Lil Beagle..."

She freezes.
"...How do you...?"

She grins
"Take a guess"

Cecil just frowns a little but stays quiet.

"Looks like you don't know each other as much as you think."

"...Why would Patches have anything to do with you, Rylie?" She says, sounding defensive suddenly. Needless to say, she wasn't too happy that the Lucario knew Patches' nickname for her.

Cecil was about to ask the same thing, but knew it was Lucure's place to ask, not his, so he merely listens.

"Have you forgotten I'm a noble and my parents were diplomats...?"

"We stopped and visited him the day before leaving to see Cecil and Genevieve"
