"Me and Alexis can help."

"Thank you," he says quietly, and slowly gets back up.

She nuzzles him.

Ciel nuzzles back.
"Where's Alexis?"

"She's outside."

"Then let's go." he says, and trots outside.

She follows.

Ciel approaches the Ninetales, frowning a bit.
"You probably already know..."

Meanwhile...
"You dead in there?"
The voice echoes into the busted-up holding cell.

The only response is a weak cough.

"I do..." she says sadly.

"We need your help. And everyone else's."

Daybreak steps inside, and just chuckles a bit.
"I should be thanking you. Without this power of yours, I'd have never guessed that I could drain anything other than blood. So your reward is that you get to keep however much energy I left in you. You get to live."
Her eyes glow, and the hole in the cell starts to freeze over, blocking any further entrance or escape. She steps back before it shut completely, and stares at the wall of ice before her.
"For now, at least."
The little Glaceon gets up and heads back upstairs.

"We need to find them first..."

The now Torchic sighs and stands up.
"Lovely."
She goes over to the ice, pecking at it.

"I know..."
He paces a bit.

The ice barely gets a dent in it. What little chips off, grows back.
Daybreak soon comes walking over to her brother and nieces.
"Find anything?"

She whines a bit, and goes over to the middle and sits.


"Not yet...where did you last see the two?"

"Downstairs. They vanished, though."

"I thought the Lugia flew off?" Laura asks.

"Oh... I can probably track it." she says, heading to the lab.

"Let's go see if we can..." Alexis says, and the two follow.
