Does it? Ki's internal flames have started burning cold.
"I had this power after I stole it. Developed it. It's mine now. Or would you like to try taking it back again?"

She winces a bit. "S-sure..."

Daybreak just smirks slightly, and holds out her paw.

She reaches, and tries to take it back.

Daybreak grins and keeps a firm grip on Ki's hand...
And starts draining her power- more than her power, her life force- at an alarming rate. Something is very wrong...

a massive aura sphere slams down on them both... one pissed of Lucario is standing there as the smoke clears

Ki groans. "Its alright...he's escaped..."

Daybreak just chuckles and lets go of Kitara.
"Vee. Help me find the shadow Lugia." she says, then turns around and vanishes.

she is unable to... something is keeping her from doing so
"you both will answer me this... who is fucking with Eve...?"
his voice is a growl

Daybreak frowns at this.
"Eve? What's going on with Eve?" she asks, genuinely confused. That's when she gets slammed against the nearby wall, a familiar pink Espeon standing where she was.
"It's rude to talk about others behind their back, little Alpha..."

And while these two are bickering, the actual threat makes his getaway completely. Yay, rogue Shadow Lugia.

"Get back here..."
Day growls, and pushes Andra aside as she takes off after him.

He's already got outside...and there watching him is Tasha.

Day shoves Tasha out of the way, and keeps running at the Shadow Lugia.

He turns, roaring, and firing a massive dark blast at Day.

She leaps into the attack, cutting through it with a burst of light, and keeps running at him. The rest of the attack probably completely wrecks everything it was deflected into.

But, the attack reverses, swallowing the light, and then exploding...and after the smoke clears, he's gone.

Daybreak growls slightly, and returns to her normal appearance.
"Where'd he go...?"

There's no trace.

The Glaceon narrows her eyes, then appears in Ciel and Tasha's room.
"Ciel."
"I know..."
"Help me find the Lugia. And send someone to check whether I killed Ki or not."
"Wait... What?"
The Glaceon vanishes.

And nearly moments later, Laura teleports in. "Where's mom?!"

"Wherever that Lugia went. She's corrupted again..." Ciel says, his ears drooping.

"Again...?" She says softly, and sits.

"Yeah..."
He sighs a bit, and shakes his head.
"We have to find where they went."
