Alexis - "Let's keep going!"^_^

"All right... Let's start learning how to counter psychic-type attacks. They're a bit trickier than regular ones..."
Holly lifts the Vulpix with a Confusion as she says this.

Alexis - "Ack! Help!" >_<

Holly chuckles and sets Alexis down.
"These types of attacks all have to do with the power of your mind. You can train yourself to counter against or even just use the same attacks that I do, however it takes a while to get the hang of it."

*She giggles, and hits Holly with a powerful ice beam.*
Alexis - "I learn fast nods Holly!"

Holly redirects it with a weak Psychic.
"Impressive. But you can do better, now can't you?"

*She growls playfully, and fires a stronger one.*

Holly swats this one aside as well.
"You won't be able to hit me until you can learn to either disable, counter, or mimic my psychic attacks."
((... I just realized all three of those are actual moves. No pun intended. ._.))

Alexis - "Don't Ninetails learn psychic stuff?"

"Yes. Which means, you can too. After all, you're far more powerful than the average little Vulpix."

*She closes her eyes, and focuses...when she opens them again, there glowing pink.*

"Hm... Try to redirect this."
She throws an Energy Ball towards Alexis.

*Its stopped, and it shrinks, and then dissapears.*

Holly- "Good, very good." ^^
Day, who has been watching from the sidelines, cheers enthusiastically.

*She giggles...and unintentionally sets off a psychic storm.*

"Hey! Be careful!"
Holly creates a barrier for herself, Alexis, and Daybreak, waiting out the attack.
"It's good that you can do that and all... But you need to exercise more self control if you do it again."

Alexis - "Sorry!" ^^;

"No, no. It's fine. You have lots of potential, and that's good. All you need is more practice."

*She giggles and nods.*

Glai is resting at Silver's lake, drawing some blueprints.

Holly- "Ready to continue?"

Shay is lying nearby, relaxing in a patch of sunlight.

Glai walks over to check on Shay.

She opens one eye, smiling a bit.
"Can I help you?"

"Nope...just wanted to check up on you."

"Oh. Well you'll be pleased to know that I'm doing well."
She gets up, stretching, and wags her tail.

"I'm glad..."
