Guardians: The Guardian Kitsune War

"Ooooh. Lets try em out, Ix." Gladius says messing with his COMM inventory menu.

There is a sweatdrop as she orders some armor to protect herself from piercing rounds and looks at the others. "So?"

Blans has got a self repair mod for his armor. It should now slowly fix itself over time.
"This seems alright."

Ix nods in agreement, tapping on COMM menu for the shield. Then again. And again. Seems Ix is impatient with technology.

Gladius tries it himself, projecting the field around him. "Ahh...works like a charm."

"Right, you guys should see how they work now." She says holding up a ball of blue fire with a twinkle in her eyes. +_+

"maybe you should do that outside..."

Gladius nods, turning to face her. "Go ahead."

The flame grows pretty big and high as she cocks her arm back. But just before she goes to throw it, the big holomap begins pinging.

Ix snaps its attention towards it, frowning.

"Oh what's with that thing pinging?" She asks looking towards it.

"Could be trouble..." Gladius replies, stepping over.

"Let's see. You sure they can't find us here right?"
He goes and opens the map, hoping their little break wasn't just cut short.

Nope, but the image of their bossand her office comes up."Figured you would come back here." Zilla says to them, not looking to pleased at the moment.

"Ah...Zilla. Long time no see." Gladius says, bowing his head.

"Well well. It's sure bit a while...something troubling you? Besides the war of course."

Zilla: "To start with what happened back there? You were suppose to report back to the ark as soon as you made. I also wanted you to limit civilian causalities. We have spys in their goverment we do not need to give them cause to leave our side."

"Right...they were kind of following us...we aren't one hundred percent at the moment. Being in stasis and such."

Zilla: "I understand that. How soon are you able to return to the Ark?" She asks still unhappy with the situation.

"We're in the clear now. Once we patch up the ship, we should be able to head back."

Zilla: "Inform me before you leave and DO NOT take any risks. You are to return straight back for a medical exam and a new mission briefing."

Ix has its back to their boss at the mention of the civilians that died at its blade. It lost all interest in the conversation upon being scolded.

"Understood. We'll leave soon." Gladius says, nodding.

"Okie dokie lady!" She says waving from her spot."The ship is actually ready. I can get the parts I need from the Ark."

"Ah, so we're prepared to leave then? Good." Gladius says happily.

"Let's head back then, unless anyone has any unfinished business here?"
