Dez is working on the holomap."what's eating all of you guys up?"

"It's a long story but people are in danger and we're unable to get out of the city to do anything."

"That's right, Leo tipped the guards to not let Soul Hunters out at night. Don't worry about anything, people are going to die. That's the way of the...world..." She says yanking s crystal from the latch in the ground going to her work bench."It's Zalia talking by the way. Dez went to sleep a few hours ago...anyways, people will die. Not much you can do about it. Putting the entire burden on yourself won't help and will only add to your stress. There are several hundreds of other soul hunters out there with maps and crystals."

"Choose the way you want to live your life, there's no chosen fate for you. Some take up Hunting, others open shops. There are even reborns who took up other duties, like simply being house wives, or are simply enjoying their lives they way they want." She tinkers with the crystal and walks over to the hatch again, putting her head back in."You guys had goals before coming here no? Keep following them, don't let someone decide your fate for you...there!" There's a click as the holomap comes on again. This time, it's filled with countless red dots shown all over the world. Most are small but there are several big ones."See that? Those are the shadow souls all around the world, too many for you to handle alone. If anything, let the burden fall upon Dez. She started this guild because of a incident that happened in the forests...and she felt responsible for not making it in time. This guild is here to organize Soul Hunters and send them out across the world to collect souls, and maybe earn enough money to open guilds across the world to dwindle the Shadow Soul population."

"But thats the thing we don't know what we're dealing with for sure. It could be far worse then these dark souls.. bad enough that it could destroy this world."

Suddenly, Maka gets a little serious.
"...Miss Cia? What's the process you take when you...want to kill somebody? What do you do? What mental barriers do you have to not let the guilt weigh you down?" he asks, thinking about what mindset an assassin gets in. For what reason he's asking, its unknown, but sudden.

"Doubt it. Kagomai is probably just testing you. Like I said, you worry about it too much, you'll get a headache. Go to bed, we will be opening the guild tomorrow."

"Testing us...? DId she do that to you?"

"Ah...I...well...usually, I'd take a bounty. Most of my bounties were for captures, but few I'd have to kill...usually dangerous criminals. I've never killed innocents. I always feel like...maybe its for the best..."

"No, but it's not unlikely. You guys aren't the first she's come too and made things difficult. Just bite the bullet and get through it. Anyways, gather your friends. I've got an announcement."

"An announcement? Alright I'll go get them." She says heading over to Cia and Maka. "I'm sorry to interrupt but the crazy fox lady wants us."

Maka glances over at Serene.
"Oh, alright. C'mon Miss Cia, I guess we're having a meeting."

Cia nods, still holding Maka's hand with her wing.

Back at the guild, Pyra has returned and is leaning up against the far wall. She still doesn't look happy.

Dez is in her normal Mage outfit twirling her chewing stick around. She's humming as she awaits the group.

"I don't know where the other one is should I look for him?" Serena asks as she walks over to Dez with a frown.

"I'm here. Don't worry."
Jyrus steps in shortly after the others.

"Right, everyone is here. Ok, so tomorrow I open up the doors for applicants. I need you guys to post these flyers everywhere. Since you are living here rent free for the week, I do believe you guys owe me something." She lets out a cheer."oh and please sign up yourself so you can be registered to the guild. Oh and Maka right? If you want to train in magic, I'm available now."

"Is there a chance we could go ahead and register now instead of in the morning?" Serena asks taking some of the posters from Dez. "I don't mind putting these up for you."

Cia takes some as well. "Ah, sure."

"Thanks. I get the feeling ill like you guys. Maybe I'll teach you about Soul Fusion one day. I'll pay you guys extra if you get it done quickly."

"Excuse me.. what is soul fusion? Could you give us at least a brief description?" Serena asks her ears perked up somewhat interested in the subject now.

"Nope, shoo. All of you...oh, Ruby will be home in the morning Cia. She can train you in thief skills."

"Of course. Thanks."

"Well I guess it was wort a shot... I'm gonna get a head start on putting these poster up before it gets to late who wants to join me?"

Maka nods in agreement to the others.
"I can help you guys put it up. If that's okay, Miss Zalia?"

"Actually it's Dez who's speaking right now. Serena, Zalia can help you train any time you want. Actually, you all should team up. The team with the most poster wins a special prize. Pyra and Jyrus, Serena and Maka. Cia, you can watch this time around. You'll get a nice prize too for helping out."
