Legacies Reborn

Lucure comes to a stop, and looks over at him, not in the least bit winded.
"Are you going to be okay or do I need to get you a juice?" she says, in an almost teasing manner.

"Oh, I'll be fine." He insists.

"If you insist." she laughs.

Cain has been flying slightly above them through the last half of the steps.

Rylie brings in the rear. Looking like the stairs were nothing more than a slight incline to her
"Who would have guessed... The actual dragon of the group is more out of shape than the fat lizard with wings"

"All that royal treatment he got before coming out here must be kicking his ass."

Cecil frowns a bit. "Well I'm sorry that disappoints you. I'm a prince, not am athlete." He retorts.

"You'll be fine. Just make sure you don't get lazy after all of this."

Lucure shoots Cain and Rylie an annoyed glance, and responds, "Come. The Triad are awaiting us inside."

Cecil nods. "Right behind you."

She walks ahead as usual, guiding the group through her faction's heavily armed fort, tail swishing about. She didn't seem the least bit tired from sailing all night...

"Well, I surely hope this goes well."

"I'm almost positive it will, as long as you don't somehow manage to anger them. You've already met Kodeus of course, so you have his trust. All you have to do is make good with two other people." she encourages, taking one of his hands after slowing down to walk with him. "Plus, I'm here. They'll recognize me, and possibly Rylie as well, since she's a noble."

"Oh, well of course. I have confidence in everyone."

"You'll need it." she reminds him as they step through the guarded gates of the castle, the thuggish looking guards at the front moving aside as Lucure guides the group through.

Cecil looks at his surroundings as he goes.

The interior of the Pirate stronghold is decorated with all kinds of baubles and trinkets, such as long lost treasures, salvaged from burning ships, the fabricated heads of fearsome, unknown and unnanmed nautical beasts, heck, even loose gold pieces line the floors. It's just like walking into a hidden treasure cove, if not for the somewhat crowded interior.

"Hm, this is quite amazing..."

"Kind of what I expected really. I'd do the same thing. Show off what I have."

"As to be expected." Lucure mirrors back at the Charizard. "I mean, you seem to be...proud of the treasure you display."

He bumps the back of her head with his gut.
"You know you like it."

"It seems...um...soft?" Cecil comments.

"Sure..." Lucure remarks dryly. "It drives me into the utmost ravaging of moods." >.>

Cecil merely chuckles a bit as he continues to walk alongside Lucure.

"Oh I'm sure it does. Ha!"
He then refocuses on what's ahead.

Lucure just chuckles and hurries ahead.
