It vanishes completely, then envelops said guard in its now-invisible smoke, suffocating them quickly.

The guards fall out cold. There seems to be no direction what so ever to the base...

The Eevee continues walking, looking in every which direction.
"Whoever designed this place clearly has no sense of organization," Aura comments.

"Looks like a maze..." Xana says. "Wait. There..." she spots a door with an odd looking symbol on it.

"I see it." the entity says, and rushes over to it.
"What do you think it is...?" Day says.

"Looks like a door."

"Can we go through it?"

"I meant what the door is for. What it's hiding, you know?." Day says. -.-
"I can't phase through it. It also is locked. I can probably get it..."
She presses a paw to the door, and some shadows seep into it- a clicking sound can be heard, then it swings open.

Inside, in a suspended bubble of water is the Hybrid, who seems to be meditating; her eyes closed.

To the pokemon behind the screen, the shadow asks softly, "Are you guys getting this....?"
-when she speaks directly to the group, they're just her thoughts being translated onto her avatar, so to speak, in its box on the computer screen.

"We are..." Xana replies, staring.

"What should I do...?" it asks, continuing to stare.

"We need plans...she has plans...look for them...they should be in the same room..."

It vanishes again, whirling around the room in search.

In the corner of the room is a large screen computer that looks very high tech.

It stops in front of it, then slips into the computer via the nearest USB port.

The first she would encounter, of course, is a password.

"A password...? That's easy."
A couple clicks later, and the password has not only been discovered, but the feature has been disabled altogether.

The system opens up.

"Sending you the files to sort through." the shadow informs them, and a loading bar appears at the bottom of Aura's computer screen.

"I hope your keeping an eye on her..."

"I am." it replies, and turns its attention towards the hybrid.

You mean the bubble of water?

Yes.
"..."

"Bravo, guys. You stole my files."
The connection is cut.

Aura slams her paws down on the desk with a growl.
"I lost a perfectly good specter..."

"We can create another. And we got the files..."
