The Espeon steps forward.
"And I told you... This must be done."

"Exactly."
There is a noise of wrenching steel and cracking of glass.

Clair listens in silence...
Aura- "Can I move yet?" -_-

"Yes, you can, the hybrid says, and sends Aura flying into her mother. There is more cracking, and alarms start to go off as water starts to leak in.

Aura backflips and lands on Day's back. Clair doesn't seem too concerned, and just looks towards Xanaka.

"She's gonna flood the place...try to stop her?"

"If you think it is wise..."

"That, or we need to get the hell out of here."

"It is your choice, Xanaka."

"Come on Clair. Stop pinning everything on me!" She says, scooping up the Espeon, and Trip. "This way! To the sub!"

Daybreak and Aura follow. Clair remains silent...

The moment they get on board, the whole place starts to fall apart. "Drive Aura!"

The Eevee throws some sort of tiny black speck into the compound before shutting the sub doors behind her, and hopping into the pilot's seat. Within moments, they've taken off.

Xana notices this, and after a moment, asks, "What was that that you threw in there...?"

"I'll show you when we get home." the Eevee answers, then steers the sub back towards Snowpoint.

Xana nods, and sits back with a sigh. "That was a bust..."

"Not necessarily..." Aura replies, with somewhat of a smirk.

"Okay, we're here. I say we grab a snack, and then everybody meet me in Uncle's lab." Aura says, and scurries off.

Xana frowns, and get something to eat, before heading to that location.

Clair, Trip and Day are already there. Aura sits in a small swivel-chair, in front of a large computer with many devices hooked up to it. On the screen are many maps and diagrams, all of the underwater base... in one location there is a small black dot.
"That thing I threw in was something I made a little while ago. A sort of shape shifting entity that's built for data collection." the Eevee says, without turning to face Xanaka. A small prompt displays on the computer screen.

A new screen pops up in its place- it's what Aura's creation, having taken the form of said Eevee, is seeing.

Which would be the base, which is not even damaged anymore.

"Oh, like a spy...?"

"In a sense." Aura says. She grabs an odd-looking helmet and puts it on herself, before flipping a dial. She herself goes still, as if hibernating, and a second screen pops up beside her original one, displaying her face.
"Right now I have it in remote-control mode so it can scan me and develop its own personality accordingly." the image informs then, then the screen flashes green once.
"All done... Switching to self-aware."
The helmet automatically pops off, and the image of Aura turns almost completely black and somewhat see-through- a shadowy double of herself.
"What do you want me to look for?" it asks, looking straight at Xanaka.

"I didn't get any of that...but look for her. Her plans."

"Her. The hybrid?" it replies, beginning to walk. Rather, it sort of floats- most of the body turns to smoke as it moves around, incredibly quickly.

Trip meanwhile is typing a report.

"Yes. Watch out. I see guards ahead."

"Thank you."
It vanishes completely, then envelops said guard in its now-invisible smoke, suffocating them quickly.
