Cue Aura getting tackled by Alexis--and then she gets off. "Now we're even." ;3

"Ow! Hey! No fair! I call child abuse!" Aura protests, jokingly, and tugs on the fur tuft on the Ninetales' head.

Alexis just chuckles. "Why don't you pull one of my tails instead..."

"No, because I'm not stupid," the girl says, and crosses her arms.

"I know. Just testin' ya~" The Ninetails gets up and shakes her fur.

"Nah. If I wanna mess with someone, I either bite them as hard as I can or light their ears on fire."
Pause.
"Or both." p:

Alexis is about to say something, when Nate walks by, and stops. There is an awkward pause as they both stare at each other...

Aura watches, her head tilted.
"He looks a lot like you, Alexis..."

"Just a bit..." she murmurs, before Nate shakes his head, and darts off quickly, and just as he thinks he's good, Tasha yells out at him. "Hey Nate!~"

((Knew it.))
"He's your dad..." Aura realizes, rather bluntly, then follows after Nate.

"Hey! Wait!" Alexis says, trying to catch up with him. He curses under his breath, and tries to run, but trips over something, and Alexis catches him. "...so those were true, hmm?" Nate shakes his head. "Yes..."

Aura skids to a halt nearby, listening to them. She appears to be pondering something.

"So why do you run?" Alexis starts to say, but stops.
"You want to know?" Nate replies bluntly.
"...y-yeah..." Alexis says, now afraid of the answer.

"Is it because of who Tasha used to be? Years ago she teamed up with a Celebi and they came after you, wanting the power that you possessed. Grandmother told me about it."

"...huh? That....hasn't happened yet..."
Alexis stays quiet, not pushing her question.

"Oh... Right. Different time stream... Don't worry about it. Why don't you just tell us, if it's all right?"

"You sure you want to know?"
"...yes. I do."
Nate sighs, and starts. "You...were never intended. By me, though. I'm not sure about Nitara...but I didn't want a child, no offense. But that was quite a while ago...when I first came to here...I just lost my mate and home...and, well, couldn't really resist..."

"You say that, but you also say it was quite a while ago. Does this suggest your opinion has changed?" Aura interjects, trying to be positive for Alexis.

"It has, in fact. Alexi, come here..."

She slowly comes over, and hugs him.
"...it's Alexis..."

Aura smiles at this.
"Say... How would you like to spend some time with your daughter with us at the Resort Area?"

"I would love too. I got not much else to do anyway."
...
"Pardon my improper grammar." >.<

"Oh, it's fine. Kinda annoying, but fine." Aura says.

"I know. It bugs me too."
Pause. Tasha pokes her head out the door.
"Someone go get Day. We're going~"

Aura nods, and runs into Daybreak's room. She comes back dragging the still-asleep Glaceon by her tail.
"I'll wake her when we get there."

Tasha - "...she that deep of a sleeper?"
Alexis - "Yes. She is."
Nate - "Where are you-slash-we going?"
Tasha - "Ice cream. Come along Nate~"
...
"Hurry up Ciel!"

"I'm right here."
