And Ciel, of course, gets covered in mud. He yelps as this happens, then eventually figures to just let it phase through him, and it all drops back onto the ground.

"...huh...I wonder if..."
*There's a bright flash, and when it fades, Laura is clean, although steaming a little.*

Ky pulls out some twigs and a log, and creates herself a small fire. "...m-much better..."

Ciel watches, nodding a bit.
"Not bad. I'm rather impressed."

After a short while of searching Snowpoint and not finding the arctic Vulpix, Daybreak heads back towards Route 217, tracking the fox's scent this time. It leads her to Lake Acuity, but she's unable to find Ky herself after getting there, and looks around, confused.

She puts the flame on her tail out. "Oops. I forgot I can still catch fire." Dx

Ky has heard her approach, and the flames freeze. Yes. They freeze solid. She breathes quietly, but she's shaking.

"Yes... That's a bad thing to forget..." .-.'

Daybreak looks around, keeping her eyes perked, as she quietly calls, "... Ky? Are you there?"

"...let's just back inside, and hope miss Shay cleaned him up some."

"Sounds like a plan," Ciel says, and hovers back to the Absol's house.

Laura follows him in. Romeo had dozed off in one of the rooms, snoring ever-so-softly.

And Shay is resting as well, curled up on the couch, seeming to have been in the middle of organizing some shelves.

Laura - "Aw, everyone went to sleep..." she says disappointd a little bit.

"I wouldn't be so sure."
Shays resting, not asleep, after all...

She jumps a bit. "...I really need to stop assuming things, don't I?" >.<

"Yes, you do," Shay says with a chuckle, then gets up.

She just shakes her head. "...where did the boy go?"

"He's upstairs taking a nap," she answers with a smile.

"Oh! Ok. Dad, what else can we do?" Laura asks, wagging her tail.

"Well, I, for one, think we should have some lunch," he suggests.

"Okay. Let's get something to eat."

Elsewhere, a portal portal opens nearly outside of Shay's house, and a Shiny Ninetails steps out, and the portal closes. He shakes his fur out.
"Huh...guess I was kinda of...way off...where am I?" >_<

Ciel nods and trots to the kitchen. Shay, meanwhile, walks outside for some fresh air, stopping when she sees the Ninetales.
"... Oh, dear. What happened to you?"

"I'm lost I need two things from you, if you would kindly. What year is it, and where am I?"

"It's 2012, and you're in Pastoria. About a day has passed since last I ran into you," she answers.

"Did we meet before? I don't recall it." .-.
Pause.
"Now I remember. But thank you, anyways."
He turns to leave.

"You are welcome."
The Absol smiles, and then promptly vanishes. ._.

He looks behind him for a moment, then shakes his head.
"It's her all right..."
