"Then leave." Day says, and sits down.

"Not yet...I haven't even looked..."

"Then go ahead and look. You might find a few familiar things."

Nearby, grown over by some plants, is a worn-down looking sign that reads "Route 217".

The Asterald looks about. "What happened?"

"I happened. This is how Route 217 used to look, but no one is ever around to take care of it anymore. Uxie stays hidden in his little lake, and the people of Snowpoint don't really care what happens to the forests here. They were slowly being torn down... they stopped a year ago, but this is how it could have been."
The little Glaceon walks over to the sign, and carefully peels back the foliage that's covering part of the sign.
"... there. Maybe I shouldn't have planted that one so close."

"What are you talking about...?"

"This is the future, Alyssa. The future I envision. Clair told me about how long ago, Route 217 had a forest almost as impressive as the one by Eterna, until they started building Snowpoint. So... I rebuilt the forest. No worries, I haven't touched the city nearby."
Daybreak gets up, and paces a bit.

"...but why, Day?"

"Because it's the way it should be. Instead of just snow, going on for miles, in every direction... isn't this so much nicer? It protects the visitors from the full force of the blizzard. It provides a home for the smaller creatures. And if someone ever tears my sky down again, then I'll still be protected from the light."

"Day..."

The Asterald suddenly pulls out.

And back in the real world, Alyssa gets thrown into the wall. Day is sitting there, watching her, with a blank stare.

"I cannot help you." Alyssa simply states, getting back up.

"W-what?" Day says, snapping out of it.
"Why not?"

"I cannot find the root of the problem."

"You can't? How far did you go into my head? Did you check any memories? Find any clues whatsoever?" ;-;

"No, 2nd, no, and no. I don't know how to really do this..."

Day just sighs a bit, and paces.
"Maybe you have to look deeper...? I don't know... do you know anyone who COULD find something?"

"Clair?" :S

"She already tried... she got tossed out after level 4."

"Then I have no idea who could..."

"You have to try again, Alyssa... please...?"

"Child, I don't know how to do this."

Day growls quietly, then paces a few steps before sitting down.
"... Fine."

The Asterald nods, then teleports somewhere.

"..."
Day goes over to watch Shay finish making the brownies, which she is removing from the oven by now.

"Brownies! Brownies!" Both Laura and Romeo chant.
