Shay looks around.
"Did it not work...?"

Daybreak shakes her head.
"I'm doing this, Dad. I have to kill her..."

A note appears, reading. "Kill her first."

"Consider it done."
The rather unsettling smile returns to Shay's face, and she's gone in a flash.

Nitara is above Heartrome, laying waste to the city.

She is abruptly cut off, as a single blow from Shay sends her tumbling into the ground, making a small crater.
"... It's been a while."
The Absol is already behind her.

Nitara gets up, and shakes her fur. "Long time no see."

Shay paces around her a bit.
"That was a nice trick you did back there..."
She pauses, and frowns.
"Too bad you can only do it once."
The Absol lunges...
Thwack.

...only to hit the ground. "I freaked out at the last part..."

"You should have. Did you not think Daybreak would be so willing to kill you?"
She gets ready to lunge again... But it seems to be more of a game to her right now.

"But she killed her friend, not me." Nitara fires off an attack.

Shay swats it aside, and smirks.
"You already know she didn't know that."

"How is she fending, anyway? And Aura? I wonder what if felt like..."

"I can help you find out." Shay offers, with a cold glint in her eye, though she continues to smile warmly.

"But I can ingest lava. So I don't know, nor will I ever."

Shay just chuckles at this, and pounces, not really intending to catch her.

She dodges, and then wrecks another building.

Shay watches, then shakes her head a bit.
"Tell me something... How curious have you been about fire? You can't really feel it, it doesn't affect you... But what if it could?"
She smiles pleasantly.

"Exceept it can't. Ever." :p
She grabs a fleeing Vulpix, quickly snapping its neck.

Shay just continues to smile.
"... Of course not."
Nitara should feel a burning sensation... Coming from inside her, and spreading to everywhere.

"Shay, whatever your trying to do isn't gonna work." It doesn't seem to have an effect.

You mean the same thing she did to Shane? Does this imply that Nitara no longer HAS a soul to be forcibly ripped apart and devoured?

"... How disappointing." Shay says, after a short pause.

"Come on. I'll make it quick and painless."

"What, are you threatening to kill me? Do t make me laugh, child."

"Well you can't kill me so Ill kill you instead."
