She smirks a little.
"... And yes. The 'crazy lady' would like some food, very much so." she says, before Eliza can ask.

*he sets the food into small wooden bowls, and brings them over, two in his paws and one balanced on his tail. he offers one to the Absol.
"hope ya don't mind it sweet. ^^

*Eliza gets a slightly annoyed look, before stepping aside.*

"Ah, not at all. Any food is appreciated," she says, and takes one of the bowls she's being offered.

*he hands the other to Eliza and sits, bringing his tail around so he can eat his share.*

*Eliza takes her own.*
Eliza - "I made it." ^^

"Did you? I must say, you did a very good job," the odd burgundy Absol says after taking a bite.

Eliza - "Thanks." ^^

*he noms his share happily.*
So, what brings you to our humble den?

Eliza - "Humble? It's quite big, Kaida." .-.

*he rolls his eyes.*
Yeah, maybe for you. >.>; i can't even stand up! i feel like a hunchback!

Eliza - "Then say so!"
*A power lights the den, making the ceiling higher.*

She watches, chuckling.
"Just like an old married couple. Anyways, I have already told you why I'm here. You tempted fate with your words, did you not? And now you have a crazy little visitor." ;3

Eliza - "You're far from crazy..."
*There she goes again...*

*he stands up to stretch.*
i didn't know Fate listened in. and we aren't married!
*he thinks, and looks at Eliza*
are we? O_o

Eliza - "No. We aren't."

She just chuckles and sits down, shaking her head.
"Fate doesn't hear you, my friend. However, I do. And I know you are not married. It was an expression... A simile, if you will."

*he tilts his head.*
a simile? is that like a fancy smile?

"No. It is like a metaphor, but you compare using the word like, or as." ;p

*he sighs.*
see, this is why i should have paid more attention to English class..

"Tee-hee! English class? No, silly dragon. I am just very, very smart~"
She chuckles to herself, and looks around.
"I really must be going. If you want something entertaining to do, then watch this girl so she doesn't get lost again."
Daybreak is clinging to Shay's back. Who knows how she got there? Girl sure likes to sneak out a lot.

*he walks closer to look over the girl.*
uhhh..well, i guess we could do that..?

The little red and gold Glaceon looks up at him with wide eyes, then looks back to the Absol.
"Miss Shay, when you get the time to come back, will you take me back to mister Rex's den? I promise I won't run off again."
"Of course, dear. Now, these two pokemon are going to be nice and take care of you, so be a good girl and don't get into any trouble."
"Okay, miss Shay."
Daybreak hops off of the Absol's back, and slowly walks over to Eliza and Kaida. Shay, meanwhile, vanishes in a puff of smoke. :3

Eliza - "She's odd..."

Day - "But she's nice, too. She helped Glai when he hurt his paw, and she gave me and all my friends a place to stay so we could be with him while he got better."
She wags her tail a little.

Eliza - "Anywho..."
*She sits down, wagging her tails.*
