"I need to pack some things..."

"Take your time, miss Rylie."

Lucure nods.
"We're in no rush. Not today, anyway."

Lux hadn't responded to the request for him to eat, having been deep in thought another time.
"... All right." he eventually says, grabbing some food for himself.

Finally, Caliber intrudes upon Lux's mind, asking, 'Sir Lux? You aren't really yourself today.'

Rylie goes up to her room and starts to pack some things

Cecil stands up, looking towards Lux. "Hm, where has my sis gone?"

The Kirlia glances at both of them.
"Lady Genevieve is still on your shoulder, she has just been oddly quiet. As for myself... my apologies. I've been pondering a few things." Lux apologizes.
Gene has in fact fallen asleep on Cecil's shoulder, surprisingly quiet as she sleeps.

Caliber seems to accept his answer with a quiet 'Hmm', while Lucure speaks up, "If you want Lux, I can handle the nightly watch. You're awfully out of it."
A kind gesture, nontheless.

"That's kind of you Lucure. But I'd recommend we take shifts. We'll need to be well rested. I plan for us to continue our adventure tomorrow morning."

((Not too much has happened. Mainly, Lux and Cecil have convinced Rylie to join them in their adventure, and Cecil plans on leaving tomorrow morning.))

Crossing her arms, she inquiries, "And by we, you mean Lux and I, correct? The prince and princess don't normally take guard duty...Defeats the purpose of us being here." ._.

"I would if it meant you two would get some rest...having tired guards defeats the purpose of you being here." He counters.

Cain happens to be outside. Sleeping off the ridiculous amount of food he ate that day.

She stands her ground before Cecil, shaking her head.
"While that may be true, I'm far from tired right now."
But, with a smile, she takes a step back, arms crossed.
"However...If that means we get to talk again while we're both on a shift, well...I'd be okay with that."

Lux can't help but chuckle slightly at this.
"Taking shifts sounds reasonable. I'll allow it for now," he decides, with somewhat of a nod.

"You'll allow it? You already sound like me now." Cecil says with a chuckle. "And...of course Lucure."

A small chuckle escapes Lucure.
"You had no choice in the matter from the start it seems, Lux."

"Who will take the first shift?" Cecil asks.

Lucure volunteers, raising her paw.
"I'll do it."

"Very well...Lux may relieve you in six hours." He says yawning.

The Kirlia bows somewhat in response, looking amused.
"Of course," he simply replies.
"I'll get some rest in the meantime."

"Of course."

Cecil proceeds to his bed.

She waves to the two of them, then goes to take her post. Good...A bit of time alone would give her time to plan out the route across the highlands to Mossdeep City, which she was secretly excited to visit.

Cecil lies down in bed, relaxing as he soon drifts off...
