Cannot wait to get back home from this trip. It was cool the first few days, but now we're practically wasting time around here...Brother and his gf left this morning, so with me and my sis here, it's awfully boring until the afternoon, when younger brother gets home from school.

Plus its been hard connecting to the internet here. Josh tried to get me to play league, and unless I get on my iPhone and tether a connection from 4G, I run 2700+ ping the entire time. :/

Josh is connected to the router since he has a desktop, so he only gets 90~ ping, occasionally flares up though. And it's not just me, Dora and Nessa have felt the crappy internet on their tablets and cellphoens too.

Ah...well gigabit Ethernet is always much faster and allows more bandwidth than wlan.

Heh. Considering youve used an old laptop so long, its a huge step. Just wait until you plug in that ssd. Comp will load things several times faster than it already is.

Not really..they're so much cheaper than they were a year ago. They're less than 60 cents a gig now.

Also if I'm gonna get a SSD it is gonna be at least 500gb

The 500 gb one for the Samsung 850 evo is $174 right now. Pretty cheap if you ask me.
