Glai and Will RP

She just nods, knowing Shay will see this before standing and heading for the house.

"Thank you for locating him, by the way. I could not have done this without you." Shay tells her. ^_^

She just nods again. "Uhuh...right..."

"What? It's true. Even as he was there in the room with me... I couldn't sense him. It was very strange..."

"...but, Shay, you killed him. And I helped you. That doesn't make me feel very good." :s

"Why not?" the Absol asks, tilting her head slightly.
"Had I allowed him to live, regardless of his condition, he would have gone on to simply find new ways to hurt others, as he hurt Ruby and many children before her. What would you have done in my place, Amy? Do you not believe that he deserved to die...?"
Shay seems to legitimately not understand Amy's morality...

"After what you did to him? Not really, no..."

Ruby stirs a bit in her sleep, balling up to almost a furball, and she falls back to sleep in that position. Whining a bit in her sleep.

"Hmph... suit yourself..."
The Absol shakes her head a bit.
"I would gladly do it again." she mutters, before walking back into her home.
"All right... we're back. How is everything?" Shay gently asks as she steps inside. She keeps her voice low as not to wake Ruby, but... she considers doing so anyways when she realizes the Riolu is having a nightmare.

She shivers a bit in her sleep before snapping awake, rolling over slowly and balling back up before laying her head back down onto the bed.

Shay kneels by the side of Ruby's bed, nuzzling her gently.
"I know it won't undo the damage that has been done... but... I made sure that he will never hurt anyone again..." she softly assures the Riolu.

"A little too much if you ask me..." Amy softly adds.

"Amy... what matters is he's gone. And that we will be able to protect Ruby better in the future..."
The Absol frowns slightly.

"You took everything from him. Why didn't you let him go and let him take his own life?"

Shay shrugs at this.
"It wouldn't have been the same. He would still be dead, yes, but..." she trails off, and shakes her head.
"Come. Help me prepare lunch while Ruby rests." she tells Amy.

The cream-colored Eevee frowns a bit before following.

"So, what kind of soup should we make? Or, perhaps it's time to mix it up and make a nice salad dish?" the Absol asks. ^_^

Glai's currently resting on the couch, having fallen asleep while Shay was away

Clair is pacing by the couch... she doesn't seem to have gotten much sleep in... well, a long time. The Espeon mutters softly and looks up at Glai before flicking him with her tail.
"Get up. You're supposed to be helping me watch the kid..." she slurs.

"Ow...okay...Im sorry." Glai says whimpering.

"Lets go ahead with the salad I guess..." the Eevee replies.

Clair just mutters something to herself, her eyelids drooping... she shivers and jolts awake all of a sudden, looking around quickly.

Shay nods and gets to work. A short while later, the Absol brings in bowls of salad for everyone.
"Gather round - it's lunchtime." she cheerfully calls.

"...Oh, good." Glai says and walks over slowly.

Clair trudges over, yawning.
"Clair... what are you doing? Sleep." Shay scolds the Espeon, shaking her head a bit. Clair, however, just scowls in response and wanders off...
"I wonder what's gotten into her." the Absol thinks aloud, looking at Glai and Amy with a quizzical expression.

"...Im worried." Glai says, his ears drooping.

"Well, yes, I would assume so. Now, enjoy your soup." the Absol responds, just frowning slightly.
