Glai and Will RP

She let's out a discontent sigh. "...the person he's talking about goes by Amy. Nothing more, nothing less. But I feel someone is controlling her."

"Amy? As in... the one that's a child in my time?" Shay asks, tilting her head.
"Tell me more."

"Heh. Beats me. That's about all I know about her. Maybe Devonté knows more...but he isn't very talkative..."

"All right..." the Absol says, and makes her way over to the other Scizor.
"Um... hey?"

He simply opens his eyes, and looks at her, unresponsive.

"I'm going to assume I won't get any information out of you, but ask anyways. What do you know about Amy?" Shay asks, staring right back at him.

"Amy...? Why do you want to know about her...? ALl you need to know is that she's become a monster."

"I want to know, because once I'm out of this mess I'll go back to living six thousand years in the past, before she becomes... well, whatever she is now. I could make some sort of difference."

"You heard my sister...she wasn't always like this. It started about a hundred and fifty years ago..."
*cue flashback.*
"She started by putting extreme funds into the bots you saw...they were originally intended for companionship and other things. Not fighting."
He shifts.
"Then after a good amount was built up, she loaded them with intelligent A.I., and let them go. Soon, they rivaled us regular Pokemon in numbers..."
He sighs. "After that...she started calling out the normal Pokemon...she outlawed the use of moves...started fully automating things with these...these hunks of metal."
He looks out the front windshield, where they appear to be going over a wasteland.
"It got worse...she branded us, moved us...and then when we're in one place...she tried...she tried..."
He pauses for a moment. "...she tried to kill us off."

Shay is silent after this, and quietly sighs.
"You think she was influenced by another? This seems like something that Nitara or her kin would try. Amy does have her flaws... But none of them as drastic as to make her do that of her own will."

"Nitara isn't like that, and she's been dead for 3000 years. Her remaining kin are either locked up or dead."

"So Shay...are you gonna tell me what is going on?" >_<

"I know as much as you do from simple observation skills. Perhaps you can ask someone else in here; they would have more information for us." she replies, then turns back to the Scizor.
"So if it isn't Nitara, then who? Is there somebody worse than her?"

"Rumor has it than someone by the name of Aetherspark is the cause...but all sources lead to her--it, rather, being a holy entity seeking out someone by the name of Vythica. But she was assumed dead 3500 years ago, and hasn't been heard from since."

"Vythica... The one who had been hiding in the mind of Ciel's daughter?" Shay asks, tilting her head.

"Maybe. I don't know. Not a lot is known about her, period. She was the cause of the Still Period. That's it."

"The Still Period... The one where moves are outlawed and children are forced into labor camps?" Shay guesses. It never hurts to know the occasional time-traveler.

"That would be the one." he replies.

Glai just sits, listening, and albiet a bit confused.

"And is there any record of things she did afterwards? Someone who wanted to follow in her footsteps? Anything?" the Absol asks.

"Nope. Nothing at all."

"Great." Shay mutters, shaking her head slightly.

"Who are we talking about, dear?"

"You know about as much as I do, I'm afraid."

"Vythica. Like I said." Shay replies, shaking her head.
"Anyways... I don't suppose Amy is going to tell us anything of any value when we meet her?"

"Probably not." he says, and stands. "Anyways. We're here."
