Shay can see a dark room...and a door...but the room is empty...then...a Weavile.

A bunch of Weavile leap at them...seems they were ready.

Shay just snarls and kicks out a ring of dark fire at them, knocking all the Weavile back.
"Let's go." she says to Glai, and runs.

Soon they make it to the room Finn is in - Shay leaps, busting down the door and landing inside.

Finn is crying as a Weavile carves his belly.

Shay tackles the Weavile with a low growl, grabbing his throat in her paw.
"Leave the child alone," she warns, a claw digging into his neck.

He claws at Shay while Glai goes in to free the Chespin who's bleeding and crying.

Shay waits till his claws are near her muzzle, then she snaps her jaws - catching the Weavile's claws in her mouth - and proceeds to bite them clean off before spitting them back at him.

He yells in pain as Glai runs out with the Chespin.

Shay looks back towards the two.
"I'll catch up with you..." the Absol says quietly, before turning back to the Weavile with a wicked grin.

Glai nods and vanishes. He leaves a teleport chip on the ground.

The Weavile trembles in fear.

Shay picks it up with her other hand, then stashes it in her fur.
"Don't you have anything left to say, pathetic mortal?" she hisses, pressing her nose to his.

The Absol just grins at this, displaying her unnatural rows of elongated, razor-sharp teeth.
"What an interesting choice in last words." Shay remarks, then plunges her paw through the Weavile's chest and rips his heart out.

Shay stares a bit, watching as the heart ceases its beating, then crams it down the corpse's throat before vanishing after her mate and Finn.
