"It is getting late... You need a place to sleep." she says, carrying them back to her room. Clair makes a nest-like structure out of her pillows, then places them inside with a blanket.

They curl up in the nest obediently, and curl so tightly that they look like big balls of fur.

Shay pauses, then points upwards.

Inside their minds, there's nothing but two faint black blurs, impossible to make out what they are. It's impossible but to tell what they're saying, but two words can be made out: "Helen" and "Leo."
