Shay chuckles at this, and gently lifts Ruby up.
"Be careful with my mate. Don't break him by mistake." x3

"Hehe, or my ears for that matter."

She reachs out to the shiny absol "ahya"

And in response, she smiles and nuzzles the Riolu.

"grma" she murrs out, it partly being a word.

And, being skilled as she is in understanding various dialects- including baby- Shay shakes her head.
"Grandma? I don't look that old, do I?"

She tilts her head at this "aroo?"

"I might be. What's it to you?" she replies, in a joking tone.

She barks and swats at her nose with her paw.

Shay giggles at this, then hugs Ruby gently.
"Do you like the necklace I made for you?"

"I know I do...it's very beautiful, Shay."

She nods her head, now playing with the necklace around her own neck.

Shay chuckles.
"I can make you one too, if you ask nicely." ;3
She then returns to watching Ruby, still cradling her in her arms.

"Sure." ^_^

Ruby struggles out of her arms, and trys scampering off.

Shay sets the Riolu down.
"Feel free to explore, just stay safe."

She runs off into the other room, looking around.

The other room is the living room, which is colorfully decorated with tribal looking masks and various carvings, all of them being designs which the Absol created herself. It, like most of the rest of the home (save the guest rooms) has a very foreign and exotic feel to it, though it is also very inviting.

She goes up to one of the masks sniffing at it, then tugs at it, trying to pull it off the wall "nyah"

They're mounted very high on the wall, so I doubt she could reach it. Shay goes in and lifts the Riolu so that she can, though.

She takes it off the wall, playing with it, sticking her paws through the eyes holes.

Shay watches, then explains, "Those go over your face, child, like this," before demonstrating.

Glai sits by Shay, watching the child play.

She puts it on, it looks awkward due to the fact her head is to small for this one.

Romeo the Absol comes hopping up the stairs from one of the lower rooms, his feet making a soft thunk every step he hops up.

Ruby gets bored of the mask, putting it on the ground, walking towards the stairs that romeo just happens to be going up.
