The Jolteon remains asleep, his leg twitching occasionally, like you'd see with a dog when it's dreaming.

Laura is looking the other way, and the Absol kit lowers his horn...

"Romeo."
Shay picks the kit up.

We'll say Cato is around the snow cavers and snow fields of Rt 216, harboring out a new den for himself. He doesn't seems to mind the cold or ice, or freezing rain as the odd Mightyena just continues to dig.

Clair, who is quite a ways away in her family's house, closer to Snowpoint, notices the presence of the odd Mightyena, making a mental note to herself. Then, without a second thought, the psychic-type returns to her lunch.

He finishes what he wanted done for now, and back out of the hole, shaking the dirt from his fur. "Whew...almost done...I need to make a fire before I freeze..." He says with a slight shiver. He then trots into the nearby woods.

The albino Espeon continues to discreetly survey the wolf pokemon- of course, she had enough power to be able to transport herself over in an instant if her help was needed, but at the same time she didn't want to come off as nosy.

Meanwhile, in Shay's den in Pastoria, Daybreak finally decides to wake up, and stretches before heading towards the portal which was left, connecting the Absol's tree-home to her own house where her sister Clair currently stayed.

He gathers some of the dryer limbs and branches, dragging them back to his den...then stopping. "Now...if I can focus enough..." He sits and concentrates, but can't really due to how much he's shivering now--and the rain isn't helping.
"C-c-come on..." he says, opening his mouth-but only a few sparks come out.

And this is when Clair takes action, teleporting to an area relatively near the Mightyena's den, then begins to 'wander' closer and closer. Day sees her leave as she steps through the portal, and simply decides to leave her sister be and goes to curl up on the couch.

The Mightyena has several more failed attempts, before giving up, and going under his makeshift roof, shivering. "....d-d-dammit..."

"So I did hear someone out here..." Clair murmurs, poking her head into view.
"You look awful cold... How come you don't have a fire going?"
Being pale as she is, and not native to this region, the albino Espeon probably seems like a ghost.

Cato flinches, and sighs. "Oh...c-cool...I-I-I can see ghosts..." he mutters. "I-I can't get it s-started..."

"Ghosts...?"
Clair chuckles softly.
"No... He only ghost I know is my younger brother... But that's neither here nor there. Let me help you..." she offers, and aims a faint beam of light from her jewel at the Mightyena, who, in turn, should feel his energy returning, enough so to the point of being able to start his fire.

In response to the energy boost, the cyan patch of fur on his head pulses softly, and he stands up slowly, going back out, and starting his fire...but the now wet wood and rain put it out quickly. "...d-damn..."

"Hmm... The current weather's going to make it near-impossible to keep that fire going... Lucky for you I live nearby. I used to rent it out to others who needed a place to stay... But, given the conditions, you're welcome to stay for free." she offers.

"I-I don't think I have a choice..." he says, shivering once again. "W-where is this p-place...?"

"It's closer to Snowpoint... Let's go." she says, and the two of them are instantly teleported.
"It isn't much... But please do make yourself at home. The red and gold Glaceon on the couch over there is my sister Daybreak... She's nocturnal most of the time, but when she's awake she'd be very happy to help you out, just as I am." ^^

"I-I..." he says, looking around. "N-need to warm up, then go get something t-to eat."

"There's plenty of room by the fireplace. Go warm up and tell me what you'd like to eat, and I'll see what I can do." ^^
It seems she's used to this kind of situation- Cato's definitely not the first that Clair has helped.

"Red meats." He says quickly, then pauses, and adds, "Please." He then goes over and curls up by the said fireplace.

"Can do." comes the reply, and Clair trots off to retrieve said meat from the kitchen. A few minutes later, she returns with some on a large plate.
"We always have some on handy- Day likes red meat as well."

"H-heh...not trying to be rude, but she doesn't seem like a hunter really..."

"Well, she is a hunter- a very timid one at that, but one nonetheless," Clair says with a chuckle.
"Not like she can help it... The poor thing."

He chuckles softly, and starts tearing into the meat.

Clair watches, then glances over at Day. The sleeping Glaceon murmurs something unintelligible, before biting into the pillow which she's been hugging onto.

"Aw...is someone a bit hungry?" .-. he asks, standing up.
