*Eclipse simply bites into her.*

*Xanaka runs after the sound.*

Day watches with a :p face.

The howling turns into terrified yelps all of a sedden, then everything goes silent.

*Xanaka signals for Andra to stay back, and she slowly creeps to look in the clearing.*

The Absol's there, and there are the three Houndoom that attacked her (or at least, tried to attack her), lying nearby with their necks snapped. She's removed one's hind leg, which she then torches with a flamethrower before munching on it casually, as if it's a chicken leg. In her other hand is the 'collar' that she's removed from the same Houndoom whose leg she's eating.
(She's gonna make it into a bracelet. :3)

Xanaka - "Miss...?"
*Xanaka carefully steps out.*

The Absol turns around to look at her, smiling.
"Oh. Hello. I'm sorry, did you want a leg too?" ^_^

Xanaka - "Sure...what happened...?"

"Oh, nothing much. These Houndoom just mistook me for prey, is all."
She wags her tail, then rips the Houndoom's other leg off and hands it to Xanaka.
"And it's a good thing they did, too. I only eat pokemon who try to eat me first, and I was getting awfully hungry."

*Xanaka takes a bite.*
Xanaka - "But you we're watching u-me back there...and that makes me wonder...do Absols warn Absols?"
(do they? ?_?)

I have no idea.
"Nope. I was going to warn those two other pokemon you were talking to. I didn't realize another Absol was already taking care of it."
She starts carving a design into the bracelet she's making.
"Who was the pink Espeon that came with you?"

Xanaka - "There was no Espeon."
*Bluff, but for good reasons.*

"No? But I saw her..."
She frowns.
"You know what, I won't even ask. I'm clearly not supposed to know she's there."
She finishes the bracelet, then smiles a bit.

*Xanaka shrugs.*
Xanaka - "What's your Jake?"

((Huh? I'm gonna assume she meant 'name'.))
She looks up, then starts cutting the collar off another one of the bodies to make a matching bracelet.
"My real name's too difficult to pronounce in your language. So you can call me Shay. And you are?"

(((Damn this Tablet...))
Xanaka - "Shay...I'm Xanaka. A pleasure to meet you."

Shay nods, then starts to dig a hole to bury the three Houndoom.
"Xanaka... Nice to meet you, too."
She frowns, looking towards the sky for a moment.
"Oh dear... I need to get going soon. Don't want to let--"
And she gets tackled by a familiar white Espeon, who hisses angrily... And then they both start laughing.
"Oh... I guess you're still angry about me eating your little friend?"
"Heh. Devastated. All joking aside, I still say it's impressive that you could fool me with your thoughts like that..."
"Years of practice. Clair, have you met Xanaka?"
The Espeon shakes her head and looks at Xanaka.
"It's nice to meet you. And I'd love to stay and chat, but we really should be going. You and your friend can accompany us if you'd like..."
Andra slowly walks out of her hiding place. Clair narrows her eyes for a second, then smiles warmly, knowing the other Espeon has no memory of who she is- and is therefore not a threat.

*Xanaka glances at Andra, then nods.*
Xanaka - "Sure, why not."
Ive never felt so inferior before...I hate having a half horn...not a full horn.

Clair teleports them to Shay's odd little house, then trots over to Xanaka.
"I can hear you being depressed. Some advice: stop it. Having half a horn doesn't make you inferior."
Shay grabs a plate full of berries from a table nearby, then runs upstairs.

Xanaka - "Lies. All lies."
*She frowns and sits.*

Andra frowns and looks at them.
"I'm not sure I follow... What are you two bickering about?"

Glai yawns as he goes downstairs.

Shay follows him, placing him on her back.
"No! Keep off of your injured paw!" >.>

"Sorry..." ;_;

"Apology accepted. Did you eat all the berries I brought you?"

"I ate em all." o_o

"Good!" ^_^
She wags her tail and trots past Xanaka, Andra, and Clair.
"I assume you've met all these people?"
